the sets
The studio starts with the building in which it resides—the Holland Building—a five story building constructed in 1914. The charm of the building itself was a jumping off point to design the studio, that when with combined with art deco, midcentury and modern touches creates a unique feel all its own. Each set has been artfully crafted, custom-made to present the look and feel of a professional television set—but made intentionally for digital. Lighting hangs from the ceiling, accompanied by high-quality audio and video equipment. You need to come by to see the thought put into such a customizable studio.
Late night talk show set
Of course there’s a late night talk show set. Jeff worked at the Late Show with David Letterman, then went on to host The Mystery Hour for 10 seasons on various FOX, ABC, & NBC affiliates across the country.
This cozy set creates a late night feel combined with some stylish wallpaper and decorative choices. Not one, but two vintage record players, the bust of hotelier John Q Hammons, the desk from The Mystery Hour, some Emmys, and oh, that original door.
This set can give you a sophisticated, witty look for your interview. So come be interviewed in studio, or from anywhere in the world with a remote late night look.
morning show set
This set is bright, and it is cheery with golden chairs, warm wood accents, and a colorful skyline backlit by the sun itself, this set reads as professional and friendly. The discerning eye may be able to tell that the skyline out the window is not the actual view, but rather a nearby view printed on oversized window clings and adhered to custom-sized plexiglass inserts.
This set can give a friendly backdrop to an interview about your business. So come into the studio, or do it remotely.
podcast set
This set is cozy and intimate, just like your favorite podcast. With a shelf full of books, dramatic wall sconces, and a slatted wall similar to those found in sound studios, this backdrop pairs well with the Shure SM7B, broadcast quality microphone, and the surely great business you swung by to talk about.
Podcasts are great, but more and more you see video clips of podcast interviews. Pretty soon you could see one with you in it.
This set is available for a remote interview, and will soon be available in-person as well.
news desk set
The framing of this set was done by a local woodworking craftsman, while the backdrop is a variation of The Mystery Hour TV show set. Combined with a glass top mid-century looking desk, what you get is a news desk that can help portray your business in a credible light.
The News Desk set is currently available as a remote-only set.
modern clean white set
Perhaps you would like something more modern, clean, and spare. Our modern clean white set gives you that look, with plenty of light, midcentury pops, and green accents.
This set looks today, for sure. Schedule a remote interview and you and Jeff can talk about your business with a look that says you know what is happening now, and what is coming next.
